Walter (Danish Champion Darwyn’s Walter the Viking) is Denmark’s #1 Welsh Terrier for 2021!
Walter is owned and loved by Inga and Jacob Hyldahl. He was born in Canada, and his breeders are Larisa Hotchin and Regina Schmid.
Inga takes great care in her trimming. She does his handstripping and presents him in the show ring. She has had many wins and awards over the years, with a number of her Welsh Terriers. I feel very proud that Walter is one that they have had success with.
In January 2018, Jacob and Inga travelled to Canada to meet us in person and take him home with them to Denmark. Shortly after that, Walter was awarded a Best Puppy in Show when he was 6 months old! During 2018 and 2019, Walter and Inga were awarded a number of other top awards.
Walter’s litter sister is Morgana (American Grand CH & Canadian CH Darwyn’s Morgana le Fay). Morgana finished her AKC championship on Montgomery 2019 weekend with Winners Awards 3 days and Reserve Winners the other day.
